In its second year, the Westport Roots Festival is getting even more rootsy, with some help from St. Joseph bands.
Missouri Homegrown, Eyelit, Tracy Huffman, Hubcap Bandits and Under the Big Oak Tree all will be a part of the weekend-long festival taking place from May 23 and 24 at several venues, including the Westport Saloon, 4112 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, Mo., and the Riot Room, 4048 Broadway St., Kansas City, Mo.
