The exquisite image below will grace the cover of our forthcoming album. It’s by Josh Hamilton a.k.a. Boxcardinal Creative (http://boxcardinal.blogspot.com).
Josh also created our original oak tree logo. His work seems to capture that same hand-crafted aesthetic that we go for in our music (and it always looks amazing ;-). Here are his thoughts on his what inspired the cover art:
J.H.: The main concept for the album artwork is based on presenting imagery that represents the spirit of the music. I feel the music is rooted in tradition and history, yet is not afraid to apply a modern approach. So I tried to create imagery that reflected the music– showing a respect for both traditional and modern ideas.
